Abrar joined the NanoLight lab at Penn State as a Ph.D. student in August, 2022. He received his B.Sc. degree in Electrical & Electronic Engineering from Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman Science & Technology University, Bangladesh. His current research and studies revolve around the intersection of metaphotonics, plasmonics, & optronics.
